The VDE Machines 2021 24 Row Flow Through Sandwich System is an advanced in-line sandwiching machine designed for high-efficiency cookie production. This system features a unique sanitary biscuit carry setup, where both top and bottom biscuits are transported using full-width stainless carriers with individual product seats. It operates with a robust 1″ pitch conveyor chain, guided by UHMW chain guides, ensuring clean and maintenance-free operation.
A heavy-duty SEW gear motor powers this system, offering continuous and reliable transport. Biscuits are expertly maneuvered; top biscuits are lifted onto a Delrin waiting plate while cream-dressed bottom biscuits are advanced by tall lugs. Once aligned, the top and bottom biscuits merge seamlessly. For precise production, alternating rows are flipped to meet the sandwiching requirements, achieved through a refined through-flow system.
The machine includes 3/8″ thick Lexan windows with double safety contacts, preventing leaks during pressure washing. Its integrated control panel is Nema 4X rated for wash-down environments, featuring a centrally mounted 10″ color touch screen for user-friendly operation. This robust and clean design makes it ideal for efficient and safe production of sandwich cookies at industrial levels.
